Rany was a fantastic host and the venue space is amazing. It fit our 40 guests with plenty of extra space. It has 3 great separate spaces - an outdoor area, a great indoor dance area with amazing lighting and sound system, and a front lighter room with a great bar and table area. We had such a great time here for a birthday party. Rany was fast and clear with communication and even helped us out with hiring security last minute for the event. If you are looking for a fun space in toronto for a great price, this is it!!!

Rany and his team were a dream to work with! Rany was always incredibly responsive, from the start of planning to the very end of the party. The venue itself was great for hosting a party of 40+ attendees and Rany's team made sure I had access to everything I needed to have a successfully fun night. Thank you to Rany and his team!

Find Christening Party venues

Christening a child is one of the most important events for many parents. Some dream of a lavish christening reception in a historic mansion; for some, the local restaurant is the best option. Either way, you will likely find the christening party venue you've dreamed of, as the possibilities are endless.

Explore The Best Christening Party Venues

Christening parties are an excellent time to gather friends and family and share this divine occasion of naming and baptizing a child together. To celebrate the special moment, many parents choose to throw a large party or even a christening after-party. If you are looking for the perfect venue for a christening party, here are some fantastic ideas:

Private Mansions with Enchanting Gardens
A Victorian manor with a lovely outdoor patio and gardens or a modern villa with a pool are fantastic venues to celebrate this special event. A private mansion gives you the space to invite many guests and decorate the space as you wish. Most event venues come equipped for celebrations of all sorts, but some provide just an empty space.

Restaurants and Cafes
Traditional and convenient restaurants are the top choices for a christening party for many reasons. They have all the amenities and facilities you need for a successful party, such as food, catering, seating options, music, and more.

Rooftop Terrace
Stunning views of the city skyline are an excellent backdrop for a baptism party. Look for loft apartments, studios or bars, and restaurants with a rooftop patio and enjoy magnificent views of the city below.

A Divine Celebration: What to Look for in Christening Party Venues

Whether you've opted for a private villa, a historic mansion, or a restaurant, there are a few key tips to consider before you book the perfect event venue for your child's christening party.

Location
Your chosen event venue should be in a safe location and easily accessible by public transport or car. If you pick a remote location, such as the countryside, make sure it's easy and safe to get to. Visit the christening party venue in advance, and don't forget to send location details so guests can plan their route ahead of time.

Amenities
While restaurants, cafes, and bars come fully equipped for celebrations, other event venues such as lofts, private villas, or outdoor spaces may lack a few things that you will have to organize. From food, drinks, and catering to entertainment, tables, chairs, and lights, every single detail should be accounted for.

Space Floor
Prior to booking your baptism party, have your guest list ready. The guest count makes it easier to plan the food, plates, and chairs and is a key factor in picking the size of the venue.

Price
Make a budget allocation plan and see how much funding you have to rent a venue. If the preferred location is slightly over your budget, consider cutting on some costs, for instance, a photographer, decorations and centerpieces, and even the outfits for the party. Or search thoroughly for affordable christening venues for rent.

Indoor and Outdoor Options: Get Creative With Your Christening Party Venues

Whether you can afford to splurge or have a tight budget, there are many ways to turn a baptism party into a fun event everyone will remember. Check out this fun list of creative christening reception ideas to make this special occasion even more memorable.

Are you dreaming of a rustic christening party in a barn in the countryside? If so, you can utilize both indoor and outdoor options. Hook string lights to complement the relaxed atmosphere and make fun photo ops with party props, hay bales, and even animals in the background.

Do you prefer a modern christening party with neon lights, a DJ and a pool area? Modern villas with a pool provide the perfect ambiance for friends and family gatherings. Plan pool games and competitions if you want to take the christening reception up a notch.

Turn your garden or park into a charming baptism party everyone will enjoy. Set up a tent if necessary, and decorate your outdoor area with floral centerpieces, whimsical string lights, balloons, and balloon garlands.

Many parents choose restaurants for christenings because they don't have to cook and serve the food. Discuss your guests' food allergies and dietary requirements with the chef and try to get a customizable menu. A restaurant with a patio or rooftop bar is hard to beat.

Hosting the Perfect Christening Party: Checklist

With the arrival of a new child, your life can quickly become hectic, and planning a party may be the last thing on your mind. Keep this checklist handy when you need a little push.

Plan the Layout
Choosing the right venue is important as it sets the stage for the event. Visit the location and survey the space yourself to create the floor plan. Determine space for decorations, the guest tables layout, food tables, entertainment, power outlets, and more.

Discuss Logistical Details
A successful christening party requires a lot of planning. Ensure all logistical details of the event are properly prepared, from floor planning to transportation, staff, food, and even an after-party.

Send Out Invitations To Save The Date
Send save-the-date invitations at least one month prior to the christening party, along with an RSVP. Give more notice to guests who live further away so they have enough time to plan their trip.

Send the Baptism Party Menu Well in Advance
Some guests may have specific dietary requirements. Send the food menu with the invitations so you have enough time to customize it for people with food allergies and intolerances.

A Journey of Faith: Christening Party Inspiration

A baptism ceremony is a big event for many parents. Create a memorable atmosphere for your child's christening party with these inspiring ideas:

Consider a Modern Baptism Theme to Enhance the Event
You can opt for any theme for the event, but if you really want to take your baptism party up a notch, go for a modern theme, chic decorations and a modern dress code to match. Incorporate gorgeous details, such as flower centerpieces, string lights, and an elegant sweets bar to enhance the event.

A Christening Outfit for Your Child's Special Day
A christening celebration is a joyous event, and guests dress accordingly, in typically smart casual attire. A white and baby pink gown is always a great idea for a girl, while boys (if not wearing a long white catholic baptism gown) will look adorable in a smart suit with a vest and a bow tie.

Alfresco Baptism Party Picnic
Take advantage of the warm weather to organize a baptism picnic party and brunch in your backyard or a nearby park or rent a private outdoor space for the celebration. Outdoor picnics set a casual tone for an event, and the food doesn't have to be extravagant. Think light bites like sandwiches, finger food, barbecue, veggie trays, and even donut stands.

Planning the Budget: Your Child's Christening Party

It's easy to plan a christening party on a tight budget. You can save money by utilizing your backyard or explore affordable christening event venues. Make your child's baptism party a memorable event with these inexpensive tips:

DIY Decorations
Decorations can turn any place into a party event everyone can enjoy. Instead of hiring a professional decorating team or purchasing decorations, make your own to cut costs. DIY paper flowers, balloons and balloon garlands, flowers, hay bales, chic flower pots, pallets and scented candles are all fun and easy DIY decorations. Also, they will make your event even more personalized.

Prep the Food
Yes, food is important at any event, but it doesn't have to be a three-course menu from a restaurant. Prep finger food, hot dogs, or mini burgers, pigs in a blanket, bruscheti, donuts, cake, and biscuits. Don't forget to let your guests know which food contains allergens.

Stick to the Guest List
We get it. Baptism is a special once-in-a-lifetime event, and you want to invite everyone you care for. However, unlike weddings, a christening ceremony should be more intimate, so make your guest list short and stick to it.

Borrow the Outfits
Christening gowns can be expensive, and they are only worn once. The good part is, you don't have to buy one. Ask friends or family members if they have an outfit you can borrow or search for cheaper options.
